Chatfield College’s Quilt, Craft & Car Show Has Something for All

April 15th, 2014 Chatfield College’s Quilt, Craft & Car Show Has Something for All

Chatfield College will host its annual Quilt, Craft & Car Show from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, April 26, 2014 at the St. Martin campus in St. Martin, Ohio.

Along with the quilt, craft and car portion of the show, this event provides fun for the whole family. A big hit at past events, a caricature artist will be on site to draw silly portraits. First State Bank will be sponsoring free horse and carriage rides by Jo-Nel Farms throughout the day. The Back Porch Hounds will be donating their time to play at the event from 11-3. The “Hounds” perform a roots mix of country blues, old style jazz, Celtic, old-time and bluegrass music. DJ Scott Ryan will also be playing music at the event near the car displays. The Father Ray Kammerer Library & Learning Center will feature a Student Art Show as well as a used book sale.

This popular show will also feature the creations of local and regional quilters and quilt collectors, quilt vendors, a craft show, traditional craft demonstrations, a classic car show, as well as delicious food.

General admission for 2014 Quilt and Craft Show is $3 for adults, $2 for senior citizens. Children 12 and under are admitted free. Chatfield College is located in northern Brown County, Ohio near the intersection of US Route 50 and 68. The address is 20918 State Route 251, St. Martin, Ohio, 45118.
