Chatfield College to host Multicultural Program

October 26th, 2012 Chatfield College to host Multicultural Program

Chatfield College Findlay Market Campus will host a multi-cultural program on Tuesday, Nov. 6 from 3-4 p.m.  “To Alaska and Back in an Hour” will feature Sr. Cecilia Huber as she shares her adventures as a missionary in northwestern Alaska among the Yup'ik People. Copies of her book QUYANA, a tribute to these courageous people who shared their lives with her during her six years of ministry, will be available. Traditional African-American soul food, Alaskan dishes, such as Eskimo Ice Cream and Reindeer meatballs, as well as traditional tea fare will be served.

This program is free and open to the public and is funded by the Ohio Humanities Council.
