Chatfield College Welcomes New Full-time Math Instructor

August 21st, 2014 Chatfield College Welcomes New Full-time Math Instructor

Chatfield College has welcomed Jennifer Fiedeldey as a full time instructor of Mathematics, Math Department Chair, and Student Advisor. Jenny will teach and advise at both Chatfield College campuses in St. Martin, OH and Cincinnati.

Jenny has a B.S. in Math from Marian College, (now Marian University) and a Master’s degree in Math Education from the University of Kentucky. Jenny most recently taught math and statistics at St. Mary’s College, Notre Dame where she worked for 16 years. She also was an adjunct at Bethel College, Mishawaka, IN Brown Mackie, Mishawaka, IN and Southwestern Michigan College, in Niles, MI.

“We are pleased and excited to have Jenny join the full-time faculty at Chatfield,” said Alan Simmons, Dean. “She brings a very strong background in mathematics in both her education and her work experience.”

Jenny and her husband, Mark, live in Batavia. When not in the classroom, Jenny enjoys the outdoors and is an avid gardener. Jenny also cans fruits and vegetables from her garden and enjoys making quilts.

“I am looking forward to teaching at Chatfield and to creating a consistent math curriculum for the math department,” said Jenny.
