Chatfield College Announces new Financial Aid Counselor at Findlay Market
March 20th, 2013
Chatfield College is pleased to announce the appointment of Diana Irving as Financial Aid Counselor for the Findlay Market Campus. Ms. Irving, a 2011 Chatfield College graduate, will be assisting students in all areas of the financial aid process.
“Chatfield College is instituting a new approach for its students,” said Irving. “We want them to fully understand the financial aid process and its impact on their future plans post-graduation. We discuss all the basics, a 101 on financial aid, you could say, that includes grants, scholarships and loans. Chatfield encourages students to see how today’s financial decisions fit into their educational futures. It is our goal for students to be in a successful position to expand beyond a two-year degree and matriculate into a four-year college.
“I’m in a good position to understand our students’ needs, being a graduate myself. I was amazed at the individual attention and support I received at Chatfield. It is a very personalized college environment,” remarks Irving.
“We are happy to have Diana join the financial aid staff at our Findlay Market campus,” said Dawn Hundley, Financial Aid Director. “Having Chatfield graduates on staff is very positive. They had a wonderful student experience and want to pass that experience on, helping others to succeed.”
Irving, a Mt. Healthy resident, is married with four children. She is currently completing a B.A. in Spanish at Xavier University.
