Chatfield Announces New Director for Findlay Market Site

Chatfield College has announced the appointment of Wanda W. Hill as the new director of the college's Cincinnati location in Findlay Market.

Hill will officially begin her responsibilities as Site Director on July 1.  She joins Chatfield after serving 10 years in Over-the-Rhine education, where she has been Principal for St. Francis Seraph School, a school supported by the Catholic Inner City Schools Foundation (CISE).  She has also been Principal for Reading Hilltop School, which received a National Blue Ribbon during her leadership, William Bick Elementary School in Bethel, which was named an OAESA Hall of Fame School during her leadership, and Interim Principal for Bethel-Tate High School.  Hill has also taught at Clermont Northeastern Intermediate School, Goshen Middle School, and Goshen Intermediate School , and was the Librarian for Goshen Middle School.  She was named as the Clermont Educator of the Year in 1999. In addition, she has taught at Xavier University as an Adjunct Professor and is a member of the Board of Trustees for Roger Bacon High School.

Hill received a BA in Elementary Education from Morehead State University, an MA of Education from Xavier University, as well as Elementary and School Superintendent  Certifications from Xavier University.

“We are delighted to have Wanda Hill join us in this important role at our Findlay Market location,” said Roger Courts, Academic Dean.  “She brings more than four decades of educational experience, over half of which is in educational leadership.   I know she will be a valuable asset to our students at the Findlay Market site, and to the Over-the-Rhine community as well.”
